Where is my data stored?

Your data is securely stored on the servers of Zeroox, which are powered by Digital Ocean - a leading cloud service provider. Your data is stored in the standard EU region runtime, specifically in London. It is encrypted and kept secure while at rest. Certain data may be temporarily cached on your local device. Any documents you upload are also securely stored in Digital Ocean's Cloud Platform storage, which is encrypted while at rest.

If I use the free plan, will you sell my data?

When will Zeroox access my data?

Zeroox will NOT have direct access to your data. However, there may be instances where a member of the Zeroox team needs to gain access to your account information in order to investigate and resolve an issue, finalise a third-party provider integration, such as Digital Ocean or provide assistance with specific usage scenarios. In such scenarios, a Zeroox member will guide you through the process, while refraining from direct access to your account.

What does Zeroox do with my data?

At Zeroox, we are steadfast in our commitment to protecting your personal and non-personal data, and do not share it with any third-party, except those explicitly mentioned in our Privacy Policy. We understand the significance of your information and its privacy, and hence, maintain a strict policy to ensure its safety. Moreover, any use of anonymised customer data for internal auditing and reporting purposes by Zeroox will be done with the utmost care and responsibility.

What happens to the data on my account if I leave Zeroox?

In the event that you decide to leave Zeroox, your data will be deleted from our system upon receipt of a written request from the registered email of your user account, or by clicking on the "delete my account" button located in the Settings Section. This process is in strict compliance with the GDPR requirements that we adhere to. However, if you choose not to request the removal of your data, Zeroox will retain it for a maximum period of three (3) years before permanently deleting it.
